update on the perricone diet. i’ve been doing a really lose version of this for about a week now, and i’m noticing an improvement in my skin. the only time i’m not following the diet is if i’m out to eat (once or twice a week) or invited to eat at a friend’s house. other than that, i’m sticking to chicken breast, brown rice and black beans, salon fillets, bananas, cantaloupe, spinach and cucumbers. i’ve been eating an avocado a day for 8 days straight, and i think this has affected my skin (and nails) tremendously. i’ve had no new breakouts and older breakouts are healing faster. my skin is overall smoother and brighter.
